Mystic Washer® WR (Water Recapture) units are built to comply with EPA and state mandates for jobsite water reclamation.
Many states and other jurisdictions now require dirty water from pressure washing to be removed. Failure to do so can result in hefty fines.
The good news is that this legislation helps your clients to recognize the toxic nature of the 'dirt' coating their public sidewalks and other paved surfaces. Most also understand that the pricing for future pressure washing is higher than ever before. This legislation has become a boon for savvy power washing contractors.
With the Mystic Washer® WR you will be offering your customers the most effective – and cost-effective – pavement cleaning program available.
The Mystic Washer® WR model offers a 2-foot cleaning path and is double-wall constructed.
Each machine offers two vacuum-ready ports strategically located on the top of the outer housing of the unit. These 1.5" ports come together at the top of the machine in a union that transitions to a 2" hose. The other end of the hose goes to the pump system of your choice.
The gas-powered pump offers significantly more power; enough to pump up to 300-feet. Alternatively, you could pump the used water from two Mystic Washer® WR machines up to 160-feet each.
With the Mystic Washer® WR machines, there is still no remote pressure hose to wrangle, reducing the hoses that the operator needs to drag around. Plus, because there is no long pressure line, cleaning is faster due to no loss of line pressure because power is being generated on the Mystic Washer® itself.
Note: In addition to the pump(s) and filtration tank we sell, we strongly recommend the addition of an additional 200–500 gallon, agricultural-type tank, as well as an additional pump sufficient to pump filtered water at 40–50 lbs. These will provide a water reservoir that will allow a much longer cleaning cycle without having to refill your water supply, and are obtained relatively inexpensively in most locales. If you would like us to assist you in obtaining these items, just let us know.
| It is possible to reclaim a significant portion of used water with a standard Mystic Washer® unit. However, because it is not a hard-lined, totally contained system, it is impossible to collect and reuse the same amount of water as what is available with a Mystic WR machine.
Another downside is that the collection pump must always be positioned level or downhill from the jobsite. And, the pump must be moved more often so as to capture the water. Finally, you will have to refill your water supply more often, since you will be re-capturing much less dirty water.
